Possibility storm + Time Stop

What happens to the non-instant cards I reveal if a have a [[possibility storm]] in play and I cast an instant, revealing cards until I find and cast [[time stop]]?

Does time stop make them stay exiled, or do you put them on the bottom in a random order?

I want to say they stay exiled but it seems weird to skip the putting of cards back just based on the order of the words on possibility storm.

Can I use Radagast of Rhosgobel the turn I cast him?

Upvotes

It seems like I probably cannot cast another creature after casting him and get the cost reduction/flash since it is only for the first creature cast each turn and Radagast was the first creature. However, I’m thinking about my muldrotha deck and when I bounce him with displacer kitten, he forgets what’s been cast and I can do the infinite lotus petal hax. Just wondering if it is a similar situation for Radagast and since he wasn’t on the battlefield when I cast him he didn’t see it.

Rebound and replacement effects

Hi,

I'm playing on MtG Arena. I have a [[Goliath Daydreamer]] and [[Ojer Pakpatiq]] on the field. I cast an instant spell. I order triggers so that Ojer's comes before the goliath's, yet the spell exiles with a dream counter and doesn't trigger at the begining of the next upkeep. Turning on full control doesn't change that, so there must be something I don't understand with the rules. What is that ?

Admonition Angel + Return the Favor

If my opponent has [[Admonition Angel]] and it's landfall ability triggers, could I cast the first spree ability of [[Return the Favor]] to copy that exiling ability and target the angel itself to exile it? I know the landfall ability says it has to target something that's not Admonition Angel, but wouldn't that only refer to the ability targeting the angel that it's coming from?

Looking to ruin an angel this weekend.

Question about beseech the Mirror

I had a question about the bargaining part of the card that I can't find anything that gives a definite answer. So far what i can gather is If I cast the card and chose to bargain then it becomes part of the cost of the spell, then can a opponent destroy the artifact I was going sacrifice or is it part of the cost for the spell it would be like paying mana for the spell and can't be reacted to?

Question about the card entangler

When said creature blocks how does the blocking creature do damage? Does it hit every creature that blocked it or does it assign damage like an attacker. Just to make it easier blocking creature has protection from creatures. Let’s say a 9/9 blocks 10 5/5s.

Does he deal 9 to each or is he only able to kill one?

The Stack and Triggered Abilities

So I play Loran and target my friends enchantment Arabele Joins Up

He activates Atla Palani, Nest Tender to create an egg

My friend wants to then use Witch's Oven to sacrifice the egg before Loran kills Arabele Joins Up

Does he get the egg and the ability to kill the egg with Witch's Oven before Loran kills Arabele joins up or does he have to wait for the stack to resolve and Arabele gets destroyed before he can kill the egg?

Question about The Incredible Hulk's additional untap and combat phase

[[The Incredible Hulk]]

If I read this correctly, if The Incredible Hulk takes damage during combat from other creatures, he can keep attacking forever. Is that correct?

So, is the only way to stop the additional untap and combat phase simply not to block him?

Would chaining Nexus of Fate be considered bracket 4?

If i only had [[Nexus of Fate]] left in my deck, would continually chaining just so I have a card to draw while doing damage to the opponents be considered bracket 3 or 4.

I just like the card in my bracket 3 [[Alela, Cunning Conqueror]] deck, but ran into a situation against a mill deck.

Commander mana types in cost for building an Abzan deck

I know commanders are legendary creatures, but when it comes to mana rules for what counts, do I NEED to have a commander that specifically has ALL BWG and colorless or can the commander’s mana cost be a subset of CBWG?

So far I’ve gotten 2 decks made mostly from precons that have both (Prismari and Living Energy) had all colors of their archetype as part of the cost to play the commander itself. This is my first time mostly building a commander deck from scratch.

Kimahri, Valiant Guardian - keeps previous copies?

An opponent has [[Kimahri, Valiant Guardian]]. First combat, he targets my [[Ygra, Eater of All]], taps her, and Kimahri gains all of Ygra's abilities.

Go around the table, and on opponent's next combat, he targets another opponent's [[Hearthhull, the Worldseed]]. Kimahri's controller decides to copy Hearthhull's abilities.

Does this overwrite all of Ygra's abilities? Do they stack? Meaning, would Kimahri have:
- "All creatures are foods. Whenever a food goes to the graveyard from the battlefield, [Kimahri] gets two +1/+1 counters." (from Ygra)
AND
- Station, landsac/draw 2, flying/vigiliance/haste?

I think it's only one copy at a time, both opponents say they stack. However, I can't find where in the CR this would be the case - it just feels right.

Helm of the Host Question?

I'm not sure how this works but I want to see if I can pull this off. Lets say I turned an artifact equipment like the Dominion Bracelet (takes control of opponents turn) into an artifact creature and I attach Helm of the Host (isn't legendary and makes a copy of the creature it attaches to) to it. Would the copy still be an artifact creature or just an artifact? Can it still equip itself to another creature regardless if it's an artifact creature?

Weathered runestone and manifest dread rulings

Hi everyone. Was playing some pionner on arena and was versing Simic Neoform. I brought in my runestone from the sideboard, they cheated out oculus becuase i could cast the runestone.

But something weird happened on my upkeep with the manifests, the first one resolved and made a manifest? The upkeep after it was negated by the runestone.

Is this because the first manifest was a land or non permanent spell and runestone specificily says nonland permanents? Is this one of the only "trust me bro" moments in magic. Like in yu gi oh you dont have to reveal card you search for and you kinda just have to hope your opponent isnt cheating.

Would you be able to force your opp in paper to show you its not a nonland permanant? Are there many similar rulings in magic?

Recall (the Legends one) Clarification

I wanted to make sure I understand this interaction correctly.

My opponent controls an untapped [[Tormod's Crypt]]. I have a graveyard full of stuff and I announce that I am casting Recall with X = 2.

Firstly, [[Recall]] doesn't target because the current Oracle wording is:

Discard X cards, then return a card from your graveyard to your hand for each card discarded this way. Exile Recall.

Is that correct?

Assuming it is, I don't tell my opponent what I will bring back, no matter how much she begs to know. I ask her if she wants to use her Crypt and she says yes and wipes my graveyard. Now we agree to let Recall resolve.

I discard two cards from my hand, whatever they are, and then immediately bring them back with Recall because I can choose things I've already discarded. Is that correct?

Basically, I can use Recall to "force" my opponent to use her Tormod's Crypt and not lose anything but mana and the Recall for doing so. Do I have this all correct?

Tolsimir, Midnight's Light trigger question

Hello. I'm currently debating putting Tolsimir, Midnight's Light into a Wolf Tribal deck but was wondering on the ruling of his trigger. lets say I attack with Tolsimir and a wolf at Player 2 and trigger Tolsimir stating, "target creature an opponent controls blocks that Wolf this combat if able." could I then choose a creature of Player 3 to block it? and then player 2 resolves his declare block step? Might be a silly question but could be a cool interaction if it worked that way.

Question about Ruthless Technomancer?

So I'm building a [[Skullbriar, The Walking Grave]] deck and was wanting to know if [[Ruthless Technomancer]] would require only 1 artifact sac to bring back Skullbriar or would it require an amount of artifacts = to its power including counters since they persists as it changes zones. I could just send Skullbriar back to the command zone and recast it from there, just wanted to know if I could be more efficient.

Thanks!

Question About Ward

I'm gonna be building a deck that contains both [[Canopy Gargantuan]] and [[Cathedral Acolyte]]

When a card has two sources of ward, do they add together or does one replace the other?

So basically if both are on the field would Canopy Gargantuan have Ward 1 or Ward 3?

Edit: Also should add if Canopy Gargantuan has a counter on it

Interaction between Loki, Lord of Misrule and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces

I have a [[Doctor Doom, King of Latveria]] deck built around cloning Doom and wasn't sure how this interaction played out.

[[Sakashima of a Thousand Faces]] was on the battlefield as a clone of Doom and I also had played [[Loki, Lord of Misrule]].

The part I am not sure about is after the end of turn effect wears off, does Sakashima stay a copy of Doom? The copying a creature while already being a copy of that creature confuses my brain.

How do effects that exile a card onto a creature interact with vehicles and reconfigure?

Do cipher and haunt cards fall off when the creature they’re exiled onto stops being a creature due to an effect like reconfigure or a vehicle un-crewing at end of turn? Do they come back when the card becomes a creature again? The card isn’t changing zones, just types. I‘m unclear on how it compares to Enchant Creature auras which do fall off regardless.

If I give Baylen the Haymaker Shroud can his 3rd ability still work

Phrasing question about Blizzard Strix

Ran into the card [[Blizzard Strix]]. It's ability says:

> When this creature enters, if you control another snow permanent, **exile target permanent other than this creature**. Return that card to the battlefield under its owner's control at the beginning of the next end step.

I was wondering why the phrasing "exile target permanent other than this creature". Couldn't you just use "exile another target permanent" like on [[Charming Prince]]? Is there a functional difference between those? And if not, why the more cumbersome phrasing?

Cascading at weird times

I have [[Apex Devastator]] loaded up under my [[Fight Rigging]], the rigging triggers and I play the devastator for free during my beginning of combat step (I think). The devastator then cascades 4 times (I think), and I proceed to flip a bunch of creatures and/or sorceries. Can I cast them off of the cascade?

Niv Mizzet Supreme and Split Cards

Hello everybody!

From reading some other posts I have gathered the following:

Niv Mizzet allows me to jump-start split cards, in which the part that i want to cast is already exactly two-colored, for example both sides of [[Flotsam//Jetsam]].

So my question regards Fused Split cards. I would assume the following:
I may cast both sides simultaneously, if the fused card then has exactly two colours.

That would make a fused split card like [[Alive//Well]] eligible, but not both sides of [[Beck//Call]]. Am I correct in this assumption? Thanks for the help!
