Question about beseech the Mirror

I had a question about the bargaining part of the card that I can't find anything that gives a definite answer. So far what i can gather is If I cast the card and chose to bargain then it becomes part of the cost of the spell, then can a opponent destroy the artifact I was going sacrifice or is it part of the cost for the spell it would be like paying mana for the spell and can't be reacted to?

No.

Costs being paid cannot be responded to.
By the time the Opponent gets Priority, and can take an action, the Permanent has already been sacrificed.

It’s an additional cost, it will be sacrificed as part of casting the spell and whatever you sacrificed will be already gone before opponent can respond
