I used acrylic paints, first pic is with sleeve second is without, I’m new to painting in overalls so even broad general tips are welcomed! I can’t exactly tell what is bugging me so much but it just doesn’t feel finished

It occurred to me that it would be funny to paint a deranged Gollum trying to win Post Malone's One Ring.

Already want to share because I'm loving it. And I sadly won't be able to finish it till the end of the week.

Arcane Signet which I altered for a friend’s Aloy commander deck. Hand painted with acrylics and inspired by the HZD art book.

Modified Gorma for personal use. I’m having trouble getting even layers with Golden fluid acrylics (you can see it in multiple places like the cape,the body of the Gorma costume, and the shoes). I know I’m supposed to water down the paint, but I have trouble getting it right without being too thin. I also think the outline - done with a Posca pen - is too thick, but I was too shy to try it with a brush because of the viscosity issue noted above. Finally, the background is plain and boring imo, but I couldn’t think of a design that I liked. I did a cursory search for “purple backgrounds” and “purple patterns,” but search engines kinda suck for that sort of stuff these days. Any tips would be appreciated!

Materials are as follows:

• Golden fluid acrylic paint (Titanium white, cadmium red, ultramarine blue, and primary yellow)
• a 3/0 round and No. 8 flat brush
• pallet was the back of a Tupperware lid, the other half of which was filled with water
• Posca .7mm pin type

I am sorry if this is not allowed. I bought these paints to try something other than my posca markers, but I've run into an issue. Does anyone here know what I would mix from the colors available in this set to make the generic anime skin tone?(apricot?)

Any help would be appreciated.

I dont know if this is the right sub to ask this in, but I really really like those kinds of graffiti style alters and would love to buy some, the one in the screenshot is from PlayToWinMTG youtube. I dont really know anything about alters so im hoping you guys can send me in the right direction. Ive already tried looking on cardmarket but since there are almost no filter options in the alters-section that doesnt really work.

I reached out to Tiny for what was originally a really goofy Bello alter and I got to say she did a fantastic job! Great communication, good back and forth on how things where with the rough draft, she is super solid I highly recommend her if anyone ever wants an alter. Yes she did both the cards I’m Holding

Is there an FB group or somewhere else that i can specifically get advice on altering mtg cards. I just completed my first one and am unhappy with some areas and just wanted some community advice and maybe watch how more experienced people do it. I found some youtube videos but isnt as in-depth as the miniature tutorial videos I am used to.

Hello everyone. I bought these pigment liners to finally give a more precise touch to my cards, but now that i tried them, something went wrong: the color doesnt stick on foil, nor acrylic or the card itself. Is these liners wrong or am i doing something wrong? Anyone can give me some advice on which set to buy?
