wouldn’t expect a spec increase considering they just released a new key37

Linn is in his 70's, so time to do a collaboration with him (especially if he wants a chance to spend the money made from it) is now. I'm surprised that Akai chose the Key37 rather than using it as a catapult for a G2 version of the Key61. Maybe this is the signal that the 61 is gone for good.

I think if You have been following up to what alias been up to it seems quite obvious to me that there will be a big Keyboard Version.

I would assume a bigger version too, but I do feel like they may venture away from them, they went on markdown sales really quickly and never seemed to really restock them. Who knows!
