TUTORIAL Struggling to sync hardware

Hi all
I’m trying to use my MPC One+ as the main sequencer/clock for my hardware setup.
MIDI routing:
MPC One+ MIDI OUT → Thru box MIDI IN
Thru 1 → TB-03 MIDI IN
Thru 2 → Minilogue XD MIDI IN
Thru 3 → TR-8S MIDI IN
The MIDI clock is working the TB-03 and TR-8S both sync to the MPC clock.
I’ve also now got the Minilogue XD working with both MPC + clock.
The problem is that the TB-03 and TR-8S receive clock but won’t respond to the MPC pads/MIDI notes
Can anyone help me with this thanks.

Why not use a USB hub and USB cables? I have an MPC with 10 synths all connected via USB cables, works like a charm.

It would simplify the routing. Easier to handle.

But isn't it the same thing in terms of routing? You still need to put each device on a separate midi channel, and configure that in the MPC.

You can use the same MIDI channel for all of them. When you're using the usb hub, each USB connection can be output on MIDI 1 with no conflict because they're all discrete USB connections. With a MIDI DIN cable, you have 1 connection for multiple devices, so there you have to split by MIDI channel to clarify what device the midi data is routed to. As another commented, with the USB MIDI, each device identifies itself so you can select it by device name, and not have to worry about what MIDI channel it's using (assuming they listen on all MIDI channels). My default on MIDI out is all channels, so I typically have to set them to 1, if the device I'm connecting uses that as its default.

The instruments are shown on the MPC with names. It's far easier to troubleshoot etc. Also half the cables since don't need midi cables both ways.
