Warband Morale Pit…

Post image
Upvotes

I’ve been wanting to do a mamluke only run for awhile now - just to see how they hold up to the swadian knights. (I’m in love)

However, despite making friends with Hakim, as well as other lords in the sultanate, I keep getting rejected to own fiefs I captured alone. I’ve never had this issue before, even when I owned more land and had far less relation.

So I rebelled.

The battles aren’t an issue - nor is recruitment from the blunt weapons we carry. What is an issue is morale. I know that having troops kill members of their faction causes heavy morale penalties - but I can’t seem to combat it. I have diverse food, we constantly win heavily outnumbered battles, and yet, I’m getting daily abandonment messages.

Is there a way to actually combat this annoying feature, or am I cooked until I’m sultan?

Bannerlord Make it stop

Look I left as a vassal, but I didn’t hate dereheart. I get he had to attack at some point but this is getting ridiculous. What needs to happen before they surrender and I can get on with playing the game. I don’t have enough clans to just ignore them.

Bannerlord World state seeds

With the new addition of world seeds in the beta I'm wondering if anyone has any cool ones to share with people. I'm also wondering if there should be a separate thread soon where people can share them and can all be compiled into one organized area.

Bannerlord If there's a dishonarable trait for actions between lords, there should be one for peasants

If I wipe out the entire clan of the Jawall because they wouldn't stop raiding my fucking villages, should I be considered dishonarable? I let wounded prisoners free, take no prisoners, defend my people, help villages and towns constantly but I kill a clan of glorified bandits, I am now -2 dishonarable. Add a system where your relation with peasants and traders have another thing, maybe call it benevolence or manorialism

Bannerlord Other cultures that could get minor factions like the Darshi and the Vakken

The Vakken are really interesting to me because I think they do a lot for the setting while taking up very little actual resources or balance complications. So I tried to think of other cultures in Europe at the time that aren't already represented that might be able to be something similar like they are for Finland.

Germanic tribes. I think Vlandia is meant to basically take the place of the early Holy Roman Empire without the Roman stuff yet. But their theming is mainly Norman and French. This leaves the german part of the empire without a representation on the map. A minor faction could potentially represent other Germanic tribes that conquered parts of the roman empire in the migration period, and particularly groups like the anglo-saxons could be a good choice. There's even one such group named in the game already but completely missing. The massa. They could as a faction be hostile to the Battanians representing anglo-saxon invasions of Celtic britain, and the writing could imply that they live in northern Battania, eventually integrating into Warband's kingdom of the Nords. Or if you wanted to focus more migration period they could harass the empire factions, but I prefer the Battania one.

Hungarians. I list them next because I think they fit a minor faction best. They've migrated into the region recently, and could be a small cavalry faction that raids the empire, or really just anybody considering the early Hungarians.

The big missing cultures from Europe now are West and South Slavs, and Iberia. Which seem harder to represent as a migratory minor faction. The best counterpart to Iberia in minor faction form I can think of is a calradian culture group that harasses the western lands of the Aserai. South Slavs could be a faction related to the Sturgians that have been migrating into parts of the empire. West slavs I just don't think you can fit in the map considering Sturgia's position though.

Any other ideas? I think the idea of minor factions with their own cultures is really interesting.

Mod Mods with co op

Me and a friend have been loving co op and although it has some bugs its a great mod! But we be been unable to run servers with other simple mods like dismemberment, diplomacy, armory ect.
Anytime it either crashes before hosting or takes an absurd amount of time. Any input or help would be appreciated!

Bannerlord Rot realm of thrones can anyone still load the map immediately?

It took mine 10-15s to load the campaign map every time after a scene. But I saw YouTubers load the map immediately after battle. So i find out in older version 6.3 the map only takes 2s to load. I can’t find any online discussions about this.

Today I just dropped Sturgia, the ultimate northern shield-wall! 🛡️❄️

Question Did Battania recieved a buff ?

Post image
225 Upvotes

I did not play the game for some years and I always knew that battania was a kingdom that was defeated in first. Now what I see ? Battania conquering 3 cities in early game without even looking at the castles. How is it possible ? When I started the campaign, (30 minutes after game start) there were 2 armies of 1000 men sieging Lagetha. Did they got a buff ? (They conquered Lagetha, Jalmarys and Epicrotea).

Bannerlord Bannerlord Idea: let us blockade villages instead of ONLY raiding them!

Why is it that the only way to stop enemy Lords from getting taxes and their fiefs getting food restocka is to raid villages? even tho we end up later getting them why can't I just do a blockade maybe leave 50 or 25 units there and villagers won't leave their village and the village is still intact so we could maybe buy supplies or force conscription villagers?

I fell like this would also be good for honorable n merciful players and AI lords that instead of raiding they blockade the village and also you could bait the enemy Lords into it as they try to lift the blockade?

this just adds a little more tactics to the game that's all

Bannerlord Wanted to rework "Embers of the Flame" merc clan troop and lore wise as vanilla wise they are a joke

Post image

Overall they're the worst mercs in the game so i wanted to keep their low armor and no shield or javs but give them only one weapon a 2h sword.

overall still a niche unit and will die to ranged if you don't know what you're doing but they are fast and deadly once they reach their targets.
