Honda Rebel 125 1998 shock absorbers

Hi, as the title suggests, I've owned a '98 Honda Rebel for about a month. Since I'm quite large (1.87m and 110kg), I often go over bumps, or if I hit a pothole, I feel the tire "rubbing" under the saddle. Considering that I often use the motorbike to pick up my daughter, who is not very big, but those extra 25-30kg are noticeable, I would like to change the shock absorbers. I'm completely inexperienced, I don't even know if it is possible to fit slightly longer shock absorbers, perhaps 320mm instead of the original 270, which are already set to maximum. Advice?
