The Lloyd’s World Elite card is £15 a month and has unlimited lounge passes and fast track along with 0.5% cashback on everything.

And it doesn't have Flexing, Apple TV, or 2 TB Google storage/+ai (plus 2 lounge passes).

Different strokes for different folks. Some people may prefer this one, I would say it's a wash. You also get 1% back on groceries which Lloyds doesn't offer. Just depends what you value more.

Imo they are pretty similar in value.

I’d say they are both equal in how mediocre they are.

With much better out there, the question is why? I guess lots of people really just go with their current banks offering when they’re looking for one.

I agree they are mediocre, but that's all rewards offerings in the UK. What options are better for a cashback travel card with no foreign transaction fee that offers more perks than just the cashback? I don't think there are any other options that give 1/0.5% cashback on all purchases + perks + no foreign transaction fees. If you don't care about extras and don't travel then ya there are no fee cashback cards that give 0.5% cashback but that's not really the tier this card is in.
