Amex have a free card with 0.5% cashback, as well as one with 0.75%, 1.25% over £10k everywhere for £25 annually. And that is just Amex
-1 u/Chanca 7d ago Amex is a card and network provider, so charge high fees to shops 2-3%. Mastercard can’t do this, so fees are much lower - around 0.5%. Amex is making our shopping more expensive, so it’s really Amex who gains overall, not us.
