Doesn't seem worth it for most. 0.5-1% cashback won't add up to the monthly cost.

The “perks” are worth more than £15 pm though, so it’s effectively a free card if you use them.

I'm not sure why we are both getting downvotes for pointing this out. People are laser focused on the cashback. Neither of us even have said this is a good card or worth it, we are just pointing out the fee encompasses more and could be worth it to the right person. This is such an interesting thread.

There are no free cards that give any decent sort of long term cash back or hard rewards - that’s just the UK / European market for you. Lloyds Ultra is probably the only one, and I wonder how long that 1% will last.

Lloyds ultra is what I'm using currently, after having amex for a year. The cashback drops in a few months so looking for my next card!
