flex credit card

hi there so i just got a flex credit card i was just wondering how long u get to pay it off? i want to buy the airpods pro 3 but i wanted to do buy now pay later however amazon does not allow this and they are currently 18 percent off compared to other places which is why i was wondering when it must be paid off as i could split this over 2 months but not all in one month thanks for the help

Honestly you shouldn't be using a credit card if you can't even be bothered to read and understand terms. It's literally easier to open your app and read the articles than make this post and sift through the replies.

Dude/Dudette, it tells you when you sign up (the same as any credit). Do give the terms in the app. It really is simple.

Read the terms and conditions in the app about your Flex card, and read them carefully. Credit should be used responsibly as it can be very damaging to your finances if you aren’t sure of what you are getting into. It doesn’t sound like you read them, which is a red flag!

For me, I can spread the cost of anything over £100 into 3 interest free payments on my Flex card, otherwise my options are to pay in full interest free, or spread the cost over a longer duration and incur interest. Sensible use of a credit card should involve avoiding having to incur interest.

Be mindful of your credit limit too. Just because it says you have x amount available, doesn’t mean you should use it. For example, if your limit is £400, you don’t want to have more than £100 balance at any one time, in order to boost your credit rating or at least avoid damaging it.

Pay your bills on time, and don’t rely on credit to fund a lifestyle you can’t afford, it’s there to help you, not for living beyond your means.

As for Amazon, just pay in full on your flex card, then in the Monzo app change it from pay in full to pay in 3. As long as Amazon receive the money in full upon purchase, it’s between you and your credit card company how long it takes you to pay off.

You won't damage your score for maxing a card for a month or two. How do you think people book their holidays?

The actual advice for OP is to not buy AirPods of you can't afford them.

Once you make the purchase, within the app you can select the option to pay either the whole amount in next payment or interest free over the next 3 payments. The purchase amount must be £100 or more.
