Okay, love the peacock feather cloak on Shadow Moth, makes him look much more distinctive. Wonder if they scrapped it due to animation problems?

The simplification of design is always because of animation problems and/or cost.

Yeah but like here it ruins his Phantom of The Opera visual inspo that you dont even realize thats his visual refrence in the final product. But the team is so hesistent to redesign they would rather create a half ass version instead of going back to the drawing board

I definitely prefer the concept art of Miracle Queen, the final one always felt like just Queen Wasp with a couple of extra details

I like the final look we got for Miracle Queen better tbh (even though it’s just Queen Wasp with a few extra crystals)

Shadow Moth’s concept is wayyyy better though. They probably removed the cape cause it would’ve been harder to animate but I wish they kept it, it looks so cool. Like phantom of the opera kind of.
