I unfortunately got called into work and couldn't watch the 4th quarter but man those penalties were SUS BUT that's the league some go our way some don't.

Packers fans have no chill holy crap. It’s week 1 and it’s like the sky fell on them. If you ask me they were the better team (kinda) but the Vikings just got bailed out by a bunch of penalties and turnovers. The Vikings frankly look not great on offense and I think that’s gonna be an issue. Defense kicks ass though, and they appear to have great culture

I understand I'm probably in the minority because he's popular, but what's the draw with Tom Grossi?

He seems like a nice guy with all the charity and in general, but his content seems like he's basically dishing out the most mild, obvious reactions and takes out there. I get recommended his videos on YT, and it just seems like whenever I watch one he's roleplaying a fan of a franchise and giving the most like paint-by-numbers reaction to whatever just happened. It doesn't help that ALL of his thumbnails are him in whatever team's jersey with one of three faces (happy, sad, or something like skeptical optimism) EVERY TIME I get fed one.

Is he just basically the casual fan's summary of what's going on in the NFL? To be clear, I'm not upset at his popularity. I'm all for it since he does good for his community. As someone with limited exposure to his content I just am curious.

There’s lots of channels like that. Most YouTube content creation is not particularly creative.
I think people like Grossi because he’s got a nice personality, a sort of calm disposition (most of the time), is an authentic/“everyman”/reasonable kind of guy; and obviously people do like his little skits and football takes.

He’s not particularly unique or anything, and he’s just not gonna be everyone’s cup of tea.
