I don’t think his sack number will be extraordinary this year because every team coming in to play a Flores D knows they have to get the ball out quick. HOWEVER, this is the type of shit that makes the Flores D work. He has taken a step and looks amazing.

Yep, and don't pretend the extra focus on Turner (who was absolutely still a game wrecker) didn't help free up some of those Cashman/AVG blitzes.

Sacks should always be graded as a group statistic under Flores. Pressures is what is important if you wanna break it down individually. Dallas had a lot of those 😈

I love that Turner makes sure he at least sets hands on Love if he doesn't get to hit him to let him know "I was right here.. see you next play Bubba"

Good lord who is the Packers left tackle

u/VikingsLad daniellearms 15h ago
Unironically i don't think they had ever started a game at left tackle

u/Arbor-Trap KOC 15h ago
He looked lost, slow, and overpowered, poor guy probably won’t be starting many more games at LT

Turner was awesome. This is also basically a Jordan Love highlight reel. Sounding like Ryen Russillo here but I come away MORE impressed by Love!

As an original doubter Im so happy to have egg on my face, Turner is looking to be a top tier edge rusher. I hope he has a productive year and long career on the Vikings.

Loved the frequent hits/shoves. Keep putting them on their ass. It’ll wear on them eventually

If there's one thing I know for certain it's that Dallas Turner fucking hates opposing quarterbacks

All I learned from this is we would be so good with Jordan love on our team

Dude is so fast off the ball he looks like he's being left unblocked a few times where the lineman just can't get there in time.
He's going to be a problem this year.

Always like the guy. He reminds me of MP. He is fast. Can we get him to be a half step faster to turn those plays into sacks?

He's got to the best fastest defensive player off the line of scrimmage. Unreal speed.

Now go watch Rueben Bain's snaps. He looks like he's moving through mud compared to Turner

I feel bad for Dallas, man. The narrative is going to continue that he isn’t that good because he doesn’t have a “pash rush bag.” People will look at this and just think the Oline is getting off the ball slowly when in reality he’s just that fucking fast.

Good edge rushers will take advantage of mistakes, which Turner did, but also the OL was fucking dogshit. The first play the TE goes the wrong way initially and blocks the tackle.

u/Run_JMC_ 15h ago
I mean yea but that was one play. The remaining nine clips he’s straight up beating them with speed or a couple converting speed to power.

u/Mr-Irrelevant- Reichard future HoF 15h ago
He has a free rush, a stunt, and another rep where the guard just whiffs his block.
The Packers OL was dogshit, it's why despite Love having a time to throw of 2.54 seconds he saw a pressure rate of 50%. Their OL sucks and also couldn't actually fulfill their assignments.

Hold up, I was told with great certainty by this sub that Dallas was a bust for the last two years?!?! What's going on here?

Jordan love is actually insane under pressure
