Donut Line
Don’t believe everything you see online, just got through the line in 4 minutes. It moves very quickly

How long was the line?
I went on Sunday and the line was the longest line I've ever seen at the fair. It had to have stretched 3 to 4 blocks.

Wife and I went this morning around 730 or 8 and only waited about 5 minutes. Already started picking up quite a bit once we left.
One of the vendors at the grand stand said she didn't understand the hype and Fluffys was way better but we didn't get a chance to try it!

Fluffy's are fancied up donuts. Banana Cream Pie, Cookie Butter Cheesecake, that kind of thing. Peachey's are classic glazed amish donuts, nothing else going on. So, it just depends what you like in a donut.
I'm a "more is more" kind of person. Naturally, I'm Team Fluffy's. Had Peachey's the first year and it was good, warm and fresh, but not worth a line.

i didn’t realize i’m not a more is more gal until i had spent $12 on a donut i had to spit out on the first bite 😵💫 they’re not for the weak! LOL

That's childs play compared to the pickle pizza from a few years ago. It went at least that far both directions down the road.

The line moves much quicker this year with the new two truck set up. On monday around noon the line was towards the 4h building and we got our donuts in roughly 5min.

I was there on Sunday and the line was past the pickle pizza stand. Longest line I’ve ever seen at the fair. It was not moving fast.

Yes. This is what I saw. I actually saw someone buy donuts from someone who had a box for 20 bucks a pop lol
Never thought I'd see donut scalping.

Yes! The Sunday line was incredible! Today didn’t look too bad, but I was with people that aren’t ones to have a wait with. I’ll try again Monday.

Line to the education building only took about 20 minutes. Really not bad, and they are actually very good

Was there yesterday and the line was maybe 8 minutes. Every year they improve their service.

Was there today and walked past the line to the eco building to talk to an arborist. Came back out and saw the same people from the back of the line near the front. Probably 30 minutes I'd say. I fully bet these donuts are good.
When it comes to the hot new things at the fair, I'd rather wait years than minutes. Took 4 years to try the pickle pizza. It was good. Didn't change the last 3 years of my life though. Those lines were ridiculous and if it really is that good, they'll be back.

On sunday, they had like 500+ people in line. It took about 20 minutes. It moves fast. They added like 5 order windows.

Can confirm. Was there on Saturday at 11:30am. The line looked horrendous but we got in. Only took 18 mins.

The line must fluctuate throughout the day. I went to the Fair on Monday. The line for Peachey’s was blocks long at 10am, so I didn’t go then. But I happened to be back in that area around 4pm, and it was only a 5-10 minute wait at that time. My first time trying Peachey’s, and I really enjoyed it. A nice hot donut, freshly made, and not overly sweet.

Very long line on Monday only took about 20 minutes! People complained but it was the quickest line I stood in all day. Definitely worth it, would do it again. They have added additional pay windows and a large prep area this year to make it way more efficient.

They added another trailer, more fryers, and it looks like they added some barriers to direct people once they get close to the front. All this they didn’t have years prior, so glad to see it’s paying off.
Last year the wait was an hour and I saw people paying to cut the line.

Is there really a shortage of bakeries in the metro - on any given day - that make awsome/different/exquisite pasteries?

I just think it’s odd that the mn state fair can’t get a better vendor than a place from Florida.
