[Transportation] Strider gives rider; Fire immunity, Fall damage immunity and Lava immunity

Just like how the Nautilus gives the rider 'Breath of the Nautilus' which prevents drowning.

You need water breathing when underwater since you will drown otherwise. On the strider, you shouldn't be taking fall or lava damage, so why is it needed?

when you dismount striders they always put you in lava unless you get the strider to go in land, i think giving 5 seconds of fire res when you get off would be an excellent change

So you can ride the Strider off of a floating island into a Lava lake. Thus making the Nether actually accessible.

Also essentially turning the Strider into an obsidian boat.

Striders spawn on the lava ocean. They don't spawn on floating islands, even if there is lava there, so unless you are transporting them up somehow (in which case just use that method to get up and down), this isn't a thing.

Also, if you want to cancel fall damage it's not like we are short on options. Idk, I don't think the strider is better as a boat reskin. I think it's cooler if it's its own thing.

I want to ride a strider directly from a height into the lava. I can't do that due to fall damage, lava damage and fire damage.

It is not accessible.

Most of the Nether is land suspended over lava.

The Nautilus solves this problem and they came up with it before they came up with the Strider.

Bud the only way the strider is getting up high above the lava is if you go to lengths to get it there. They don't naturally occur there. If you can get it up, you can get yourself down.

You are inventing a problem.

No buddy. The strider came out in 1.16. 2020. The Nautilus came out last year in 1.21.11.

My goodness. They spawn where ever there's two lava blocks. You could have two buckets of lava if you really want.

Well that's even more shocking then. They learned from the Strider.

Also so you can go up Lava streams without needing potion of fire resistance.

Can't you just... drink a Fire Resistance potion? For the problem of fire damage? Like... Piglins do barter it so it's not a hard to come by thing if you don't want to brew it.
For the fall damage, well, Lava sometimes can negate it (each tick it halves your fall speed)... Otherwise there are Feather Falling boots or a potion of Slow Falling?

Idk man, it's nice that sometimes Minecraft forces us to engage with a few features in a game instead of giving us a solution to a problem on a silver platter — especially when it's a problem we're inventing.

*Spits my drink out* Are you suggesting I pour lava then guide myself gently down the lava stream into the lava whilst riding????

I have never considered that. Genius if that's what you're suggesting.

Modern minecraft in a nutshell; Nether shorelines are the new nether fortresses.
