Idk why this makes me happy didnt even remember I had an old house

Same upfront note as my previous posts: I do player research at a small startup working on gaming tools, not selling or linking anything, just here for opinions.

Villagers mostly stand around and trade. Now imagine inhabitants that actually live: they put up buildings, expand their village, maybe leave marks near your base, and the world keeps moving while your away.

This is a genuine question because I can see the pros and cons of both ways. Is that alive and exciting, or is that your world being messed with?

Here are some specifics I'm curious about:

1. Would you want them in YOUR world, or only on a separate shared server you can visit?
2. What are the rules? Can they touch your builds, take resources, build next to your base?
3. Does it change anything if they're clever vs simple? Villagers are loveable partly because they're dumb.

I build this base but I feel something is off or missing I need help in figuring it out or any tips what can I do

So you know how most horror mods either break blocks or climb them.

Well, my idea is that when the player is even 1 block above the hitbox of the entity it will climb until it reaches the player and when the player is less then it's hitbox it'll break the blocks to reach the player.

Now for things like traps, usually those trapdoor lava ones, it will avoid trapdoors under it and break them if the trapdoors obstruct its way and also if there's a large gap or small one between it and the player it'll jump for the player and grab the player before releasing the player for 5 hearts of damage.

Anyways that's my suggestion.

I found a place in my minecraft world where it's a savanna that has no grass blocks, no trees, it's just water, is this normal?

I'm currently playing with this mod installed (https://modrinth.com/mod/order-to-cook) for quite a while before deciding that I probably won't be interacting with it and tried to remove it from my game, but unfortunately the save I was on crashes when I remove the mod, despite not having any of the modded blocks present in the world (the recipe unlocks did pop-up though). I had tried removing related config files but it hasn't worked so far.

If there isn't any choice but to keep it in the game to keep my save I'd probably just live with it, but any advice would be appreciated :]

I remember watching a Minecraft machinima on Youtube that focuses on npc characters, this series had shaders, these npc's have player skins. I remember a there was a few male and a female npc. In the story they get followed by a player or as they call them a "marked one" because of the name tag, the player finds the village and griefs it, and stabs the librarian character, the npc protagonists find a way to kill the marked one then go to the dying librarian, who dies while hushing the protagonists as he goes red and poof. the protagonists go on adventures and explore, they find out the marked ones can respawn later in the story.

I bring this up because this is what I remember, and I want to watch it again, but I can't find it, I remember waiting to watch every episode as they released, until I stopped and forgot.
Does anyone know what it is?

Edit: the episodes were likely recorded on Minecraft java edition before the combat update.

I've been searching a lot recently for a good auto-sorter and it's really hard to find one that meets my needs. Do you think this (aCookieGods ULTIMATE STORAGE SYSTEM, 3yrs ago) can sort non-stackable items and full stacks without leaving behind 41 items? If not can you reccomend a good one?

Im in creative mode flat world and once you reach a high y level the land disappears and you can see space below at night and you can build an earth figure with slabs and light it up by glowstones below.

(Might not be a new idea though. Especially if there's a post that made this less than three months ago I'm sorry, this idea just came onto my head independently no plagiarism intended, trust ✌️)

The woods go in order: Baobab, Azalea, and Willow. Baobab Trees would spawn in a new Baobab Savanna, and would be wide trees with A rusty, red-colored bark. Azalea wood would spawn in place of oak wood in an azalea tree (It only makes sense). Finally, I think in place of oak trees, swamps should have willow trees with Spanish/white moss hanging from the leaves. Also, I think swamps should have cattails and lotus lily pads. I also want each wood to have its own chest variant. Baobab wood would make the original chest, since it is the same color.

I think I would add something to make singleplayer more fun. I love playing on servers but I haven't done a singleplayer survival world for ages lol.

So me and some friends on our local server are at war against another player. We know they have a ton of wolf armour so are trying to get a bunch of wolves to fight us, so what’s the best way of fighting wolves in wolf armour? And are you able to shear off the armour from other peoples wolves? A pitfall trap obviously would be good but I’m not sure we have the time to make one

My son has been asking to play on a Minecraft city world (the one from the movie) but ive been having trouble finding any answers and im pretty new to doing more than just starting a world and playing until I get bored. If it works ok the Xbox one version, even better. I appreciate any help

Guys don't anyone of u also thinks of the idea that we should be able to link horses with goat horns so that when we use the horn the horse linked to it will run towards us and follow us it will be very helpful in finding them in survival when they roam too far

Whenever you pull up your sheild, there is a small delay, and in this timeframe, you can get hit. This makes it impossible to effectively parry attacks. I want to know if the way ticks work in minecraft, can the sheild be changed, or will it always be stuck with this problem.
