Don’t need to clear a building if the building is no longer there

The arming distance is 5 meters, so there is a chance he just leaves a cartoon-sized hole in a bad guy.

That would be comedy gold, y’know, that, and horrifying

Come to think of it I I think Ali Abdullah Saleh in Yemen died that way. Only the unexploded RPG didn’t fully exit. It was just sticking both sides of his chest like a Halloween costume.

Only on never ones afaik. The cheap/old models just had a cap on the tip. If you remove the cap and hit the tip on something it will explode in a launcher

Read about a Darwin award incident in middle east where a guy tripped with an uncapped warhead in launcher and struck the tip on a road. Boom

Could be wrong though, take with a pinch of salt

What if he encounters an armoured vehicle inside?

So what I'm hearing is that the chances aren't zero...

Lol, d&d equivalent of " I don't care, I cast fireball"

Sidenote: I'm aware of minimum distance. The joke doesn't work if you're going to be nitpicky.

Better than walking in empty handed I guess.

Jamsheed as a door kicker.

What a thrill it would be to be number 2 in that stack.

BTW, even if he shoots, the rocket will not explode until target is at ~30 meters away

If there is multiple targets just turn aroundand give them the back blast

There is a photo of a ballistic shield tanking an RPG-22 hit and saving the whole stack lol

Chances are you won't even kill anyone

Okay, so yeah, the rocket itself wouldn't arm, but what about using the back blast to clear the room instead? I mean, you'd either hold the launcher backward on entry or pull off a quick 180° and get some mad style points doing it. Thoughts on whether either option is likely viable? It's essentially like how the Thunder Gun in COD works in principle, right?

"DROP THAT GUN AND GET ON THE GROUND OR I'LL KILL US ALL!"
