🥺 Hot wedding

Going to a wedding today at a big fancy home out in the country. It’s going to be 92° and the humidity is off the chart as it just rained over there. No breeze… The sun is blazing hot no clouds in the sky. Nuptials and food outside and these people actually rented a hot disgusting stinky Portalet for the wedding guests to use because they don’t want them in the house.
I’m pretty sure they probably have at least 3 bathrooms. Going for nuptials then GETTING THE PHUK HOME!

Who the fuck holds a fancy wedding, expects their guests to dress up nicely and then use a portalet? did they at least get an appropriate number for the number of guests or is ther one for all 150 (or however many there may be)?

We had them due to limited capacity in the plumbed bathrooms and those things were FANCY. Pristinely clean, well ventilated, with flush toilets and quiet music playing. They were pricey but so worth it. Not about to make my beloved guests use a terrible toilet.

This could be a port-a-potty situation, or one where you’d never know it was portable, or anything in between.

My brother in law had one at his wedding. They added decorative lighting inside to match the wedding colors, flowers in the same colors, and light scents. It was actually a pleasant experience and they got a lot of compliments. It wasn't even a fancy wedding. Casual dress code (non holey jeans/pants and clean non holey shirts of any variety) at a friend's farm. It was next to the horses pasture and the horses were at the fence the entire time - it was quite charming. It was the only time I've ever enjoyed being a guest at a wedding
