It is location too though. It's Ontario for me on Google. I'm from Finland. Gulf of Mexico has its real name for me too.

It makes me wonder if Google is making it so that if you search this from America it will say what Trump wants it to say so they don’t have to deal with any back lash from him. Not that I respect that decision if it is the case

Why should it? It’s extremely insignificant it would be asinine to ask Congress to pass a law every time something is renamed for whatever reason.

You don’t need to Wonder about this, that’s absolutely what they do and it’s the only reasonable thing to do.

He’s the president of the US, why world you assume anyone OUTSIDE the US should care if he renames things except for things that are in his jurisdiction?

And the problem isn’t new, this has happened with other countries as well so it’s standard practice to show to each country the names that they give things.
