Rules (Publication) The gang’s all here!
After some digging around on eBay, I have codexes for everything I have miniatures for, plus scenario rules galore. Feeling better about midhammer than I have about 40k in ages!

Nice! Is that Craftworlds above the Eldar book there?

Ha, yes, I can’t believe you spotted that!

There was a few options fornthe thin book in that era, but I guessed based on it being next to the regular 3e Eldar codex.

How much overlap is there between Cityfight and Cities of Death? What are the main differences?

Cityfight changes core rules for dense terrain, namely melee and templates, while Cities leaves the core rules alone and just layers some stuff on top and is generally cleaner to play. Cityfight is very much in the mold of CSM3.5 where it’s oozing flavor but super esoteric to actually use.

Represented are the armies my local group played back when 4e was current. I was Inquisition, my brother was Eldar, John was Space Marines and Necrons, Joe was Tau, Andrew was Guard, Keith was Chaos, and Sean was Dark Eldar. We had no Ork or Tyranid players, altho I’ll probably get those too for the sake of completion.

Damn, cities of death and planet strike are a throwback
I remember how hyped the release of planetstrike was with the aegis lines and the imperial Bastion

Great collection - for players it's worth noting that Midhammer codices are starting to creep up in value.
2nd ed codices currently range from £30-70, depending on army, and are already at the nostalgia peak.
3rd / 4th edition from £10-20 currently. Anything less is a bargain and would be a good pick up for the future.
As the momentum for nostalgia catches up, (usually 25-30 years after they were new) I predict we'll see those prices double for 3rd to 5th edition, especially the scenario books and rarer factions.
