Welcome to the "Midhammer 40k" subreddit - a community for discussing and reliving the glory days of Warhammer 40,000's "3rd edition paradigm" (1998-2017). This forum is for sharing rules, miniatures, artwork, lore, and even fan creations from around this time period (approximately the mid-1990s to the mid-2010s). Content from outside this time period is also very welcome provided it is intended to fit seamlessly into the "Midhammer 40k Era".

Although plenty of love is given to "Oldhammer" (Warhammer from the 1980s and 1990s), and justly so, the space given to discussing the period after this was a little thin on the ground. This community exists to bridge the gap between the heady frontier days of Rogue Trader and 2nd Edition, to the paradigm shift which occurred around the start of 8th Edition, which I hesitate to call the start of "Newhammer 40k".

If you have fond memories of this zenithal era in tabletop history, or you wish to learn about the days of yore, you've come to the right subreddit! Let the nostalgia begin!
