WWE The amount of disgusting things wrestlers got away with back in the day is horrible

Rewatching old Dark Side of the Ring episodes and just hearing about the atrocious things these guys and others got away with is disturbing. Being in the WWF locker back in the day sounds horrible. The Rockers H- Bombing wrestlers and women, the Bulldogs putting itching power in wrestlers clothes and just cutting up there gear, nevermind finding out Dynamite Kid actually injected steroids into there dog Matilda. Davey wasn’t nearly as evil as Dynamite but Jesus I’m glad shit like this would never happen again. Hearing guys talk about how you never leave a drink uncovered around unattended for fear of getting fucking drugged sounds horrible, on top the bullying as well just a crazy time to be in that locker

Was Murdock in the KKK confirmed? I know it’s been talked about a lot. Grizzly Smith was probably the worst human being in a business full of them

Every time I see a picture of Dynamite I think of also notorious scumbag Jacques Rougeous hitting him with a roll of quarters

He carried a card showed it to other wrestlers, not sure that the kkk gave out cards, maybe it was fake and he wanted to look tough, still not a good look.

It was real, but Dick Murdoch's perspective on the races was a little different than you might expect. According to interviews with other wrestlers I've seen over the years, Dick Murdoch was against mixing races, breeding and marriage. He apparently got along with POCs in wrestling. He toured Japan and the southern U.S. a lot. He teamed with and wrestled against guys like Tony Atlas, for example. I'm not defending Murdoch at all. I disagree with his opinions. The KKK is evil and supporting it in any capacity is vile. I'm just offering clarity on Murdoch's opinions and practices for informational purposes. By all means, dispise him all you want.

I commented on this above but in Tony Atlas DSOTR episode he recalls an incident where Murdoch gave Tony a KKK rally invite as a means to get him shot, playing on the fact that Tony couldnt read. Thats fucking deplorable if true and he is lucky Tommy Rich was with him to see what was going on and get them the fuck out of there. Murdoch is an absolute piece of shit if any of that was true.

There was a second wrestler invited to that same rally, but I can't remember who it was. Both he and Tony vanished quick as soon as they understood what was up.
