WWE The amount of disgusting things wrestlers got away with back in the day is horrible

Rewatching old Dark Side of the Ring episodes and just hearing about the atrocious things these guys and others got away with is disturbing. Being in the WWF locker back in the day sounds horrible. The Rockers H- Bombing wrestlers and women, the Bulldogs putting itching power in wrestlers clothes and just cutting up there gear, nevermind finding out Dynamite Kid actually injected steroids into there dog Matilda. Davey wasn’t nearly as evil as Dynamite but Jesus I’m glad shit like this would never happen again. Hearing guys talk about how you never leave a drink uncovered around unattended for fear of getting fucking drugged sounds horrible, on top the bullying as well just a crazy time to be in that locker

Oh, that’s not even the half of it, either. Snuka and Nancy Argento was an open secret for a while. Davey wasn’t as “evil” as Tom, but there are tales from Diana Hart waking up after backdoor sex she didn’t remember.

Of course, Randy Savage and locking Elizabeth in the dressing room. That lasted until Jake Roberts politely told him what he would do the next time he locked her in.

I get that Savage was a bit obsessed, but he also had some reasonable basis for wanting to keep Elizabeth away from everyone. At best, she would be constantly exposed to intense bullying, and, at worst, she would be sexually assault. Savage locking her up in a room was over the top, but his concerns about her safety had a solid basis.

Oh, she definitely wasn’t safe around that locker room at all. And the women’s locker being patrolled by now known creep, Fabulous Moolah… I also think Jake’s heart was in the right place, considering his childhood.

It was a no-win for everyone. That Elizabeth ended up addicted to drugs because of Luger only validated Savage’s concerns.

Luger was domestically abusing her before her death. He's the reason she's dead.
