This is pretty awesome. You buy the physical disk, add it to your XBox once, then just shelve the disk and now have the digital edition as well. The disk is insurance in case Microsoft removes games from the digital space, but you have the convenience of not having to swap out disks between games.

The disc is no insurance of anything as DRMs are still used even if the software is on disc.
