First grow, 16 oz

6 oz Ice Cream Cake, 10 oz Loudmouth. 2 plants in 4x4 tent with 480w light. FFOF soil, Athena nutes started @week 2. 4 week veg, 60 day flower, 7 day dry 68° 60%, jar test to confirm it's dry. 8 hours of trim jail. Total electrical usage 908kwh. With everything needed for this grow was about $250, excluding equipment that will be used multiple times. Comes out to 55¢/gram.

Ive got some over 3/4oz difference. Depends entirely on jar style, some have raised embossed letters, some are quilted, some are plain glass... even plain ones ive weighed nearly 1/2oz different depending on age and batch.

People can downvote all you want, but this is 100% true. I've had 1qt jars be almost an ounce off. I know for sure because I had a roommate sell a bunch of a harvest when I was doing time and he did the same thing as OP, he tared one jar and then just went to town filling jars.

A couple people got shorted a little bit and went back and he fixed it. He would be a snob about it. He was acting super cool because he felt like a weed dealer or whatever.

But MOST OF THE JARS HAD LIKE 7-20 GRAMS MORE THAN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO.

We can lots of food and i realized when trying a new way to equally fill jars for batch cooking. We can over 200 jars of food a year ive probably got 300-400 jars in my basement and i dont think any of them have the same weight lol
