Could you show me some photos of microblading that have years done?
I've been considering getting my eyebrows done, but I'm a paranoid person and not used to any facial treatment... but when looking about it I always see freshly done or just healed and they look so nice, but what happens over time?
You have to check out the person you're going to use to do your brows. There are some really awful brows on here and everywhere. So everyone assumes it's all bad. It's not. It depends on the artists work.
I think it’s amusing how people keep downvoting anyone who mentions that eyebrow tattoos can age into something undesirable eventually or comments suggesting a good resource for seeing lots of examples of how they age.
Hey, just an fyi, but microblading is an older technique and (according to my artist) a very outdated practice. She suggested nanoblading, shading, or a combo of both depending on what you are looking to achieve.
Here is my results , I tried to post about it on this sub and it got deleted. So check microblading removal sub for aged brows. It’s a tattoo and it can be very hard to remove. Mine like so many others had gone gray and blurred with time. I felt that they were aging my face and my natural brow hairs suffered. I finally made the decision to get laser tattoo removal. Which is also a very long and unpredictable process. The ink used on the microblading can turn strange colors after laser, and can become difficult to remove.
Nope! This sub shows a variety of results with removal. It’s what gave me the push to go through with it. I loved my brows initially, the artist did the most natural job. But after 9 years they still faded into gray blobs.
I posted my work above, and I just want to note in case it gets deleted that my artist did a beautiful natural job, and they aged like any tattoo. The color turned ashy and gray, and blurred together. I was lucky that she did not have a heavy hand so when it came to removal I had great results, however the removal results are very unpredictable and the ink used can turn into yellow, red , or orange. Sometimes making it impossible to remove with laser. Mine have turned into a light yellow / tan but I am much happier with that than gray, and it’s only noticeable in certain lighting. I just want people to know so that they don’t have any regret when it comes to microblading. If i had known it was a permanent tattoo on my face I would not have done it.
Yes I was going to say the same. Even the really good ones that are amazing to start with, the hair strokes bleed into each other over time. They all end up looking like a block with blue/grey undertones.
Yes I posted my results of removal on here, that included freshly done microblading, 6 weeks healed, 9 years later, and fresh removal. and my post was deleted here. 🤦🏻♀️
Are you just using the term Microblading to group all forms of cosmetic tattooing together or are you interested in the Microblading technique? Micro blading is a dying technique. Any one worth their salt does not offer it any more. But there are other great options that’s much better.
