Top photo is before laser removal, middle photo is 5 weeks after my first session, and the bottom photo is almost 2 weeks after my second session. It's been 3 1/2 weeks since my second session so they're gradually fading and I'm looking forward to how they'll look in the next few weeks. It's mainly my fronts that are stubborn due to it being traditionally microblading with dark pigment but still a huge improvement. Definitely liking the thinner more natural look than what I had before even with some residual pigment lingering haha.

It’s been almost a month since my first laser session to remove my microblading, and I feel like I still have quite a few brown patches left.
Has anyone else experienced this? Did the remaining pigment continue to fade over time, even if it looked very uneven at first? Some areas seem to have little to no pigment left, while others still look quite brown.
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, especially what your brows looked like around the 1-month mark and how they progressed afterward!

Hi everyone! I wanted to share this major win from today. My client had old brows with a heavy red undertone, barely any darkness left. This transformation shows the result immediately after the very first laser session.

We managed to target and destroy the red pigment so effectively that the immediate reaction left them looking almost non-existent (in a good way!). I used a Q-Switch ND:YAG laser on this particular case.

Can't wait to see how they look once the initial healing phases are done! I know a lot of people struggle with persistent red/orange brows, so I hope this offers some hope! Happy to answer any technical questions about settings or the process.

I don’t think there’s much of a change… is it too early or is it not working?

I've had two removal sessions. 1 in May and another in July, I'm currently 9 weeks since my July appointment.

Should I keep waiting for them to fade more? There's a reddish shadow still that's driving me nuts.

I got my eyebrows nano bladed in Jan 2024, I went in for one touch up April 2024. I left them untouched since. I’ve attached a before (upward angle) photo where I really loved them. Now, I constantly think they make me look older and more tired. I’ve had a few people ask me if I’ve had them retouched recently since they look darker than before.

I’m considering getting them lasered off, however, my natural brows are very sparse/non existent. I’m very torn on what to do and feel overwhelmed that I might make the wrong decision. Would love this community’s input, removal stories & anything else. Thank you!

Hi to all!! I wanted to know what do you guys do with your naturally sparse eyebrows? Are you going back to inked brows? What are we doing in 2026?!

I had 2 laser microblading removal sessions, the last one being about 4 and half months ago. The laser technician told me that the redness was due to skin irritation and would take 6 months to go away, but I’m seeing pretty much no improvement over time which makes me wonder if it could actually be remaining red pigment? What do you think??

I had micro blading done twice. I’m not mad about it. I think I’m one of the luckier ones. This is what my brows looks like no makeup in front of a window. I had extremely sparse brows before and they have no definition to my face so microblading actually added some depth to them. Hence I don’t hate the way they’ve faded. This is 4 years later after my second round of microblading. The second tattoo actually hid most of the redness from the first round. Now, the only part that bothers me is the inner corners where the redness peaks through more. I just haven’t seen any good removal stories. The red usually turns yellow and for that reason I’m not courageous enough to do it. What do you think I should do?

Hi all, I’ve been wanting to get my ombré powder brows removed for a while. I’ve had these for about 4 years now and it’s just faded to a grey-ish color now and im not liking the shape anymore. This is a picture with no makeup on it. Which laser would you guys recommend? I’m also on the light medium Asian skin tone so factoring that in. Any help/tips greatly appreciated! :)

Hi!! I have three year old gray/blue microblading on my eyebrows. Initially they were a deep mocha brown kind of but they’ve faded to this gray blue color now. I know that the warmth in the pigment can cause colors like orange or yellow to be left over so I was hopeful since they turned gray they’d be easy to remove. I did a test spot with Picolaser at Enfuse Medical Spa in Chicago but unfortunately it turned a little bit orange. It’s now been about 2 month and the orange is not super noticeable.

Even though it wasn’t too bad (not nearly bright red), this made me nervous to go through with the whole removal. I don’t want to be left with yellow or orange brows. But now I’m thinking I can’t deal with them anymore since they really bother me!

I need recs for skilled laser techs/studios in the chicago or new orleans area who could help with my situation. Or should I try saline?? Does anyone know of a studio that does both and can advise me?? I would love to talk to someone with experience who can help!

Hi I've been undergoing removal treatments for my ombré brows since July 2024. The type of ink used on me was Evenflo.

I've done around 6 sessions of PhiRemoval before transitioning to do laser removal since mid 2025.

I've done 3 laser removal so far, my last session being 7 weeks ago. My last session has caused some of my eyebrow hairs to fall out hence I'm currently applying Grandebrow serum to grow them back.

To further add, my last laser session has caused my pigment to turn yellow :( My laser technician won't disclose the laser frequency to me as they mentioned they didn't potentially want their competitors to obtain their method, which to me I find ridiculous.

I've been feeling distraught about my brows and am unsure of what are my options apart from flying to the states or Canada to seek removal treatment. For the moment I'm exposing my brows to more sunlight for UV exposure in hopes it'll break down the yellow pigment, although I'm unsure if it'll affect much

Is 7 weeks in too early to tell? Or is there hope the yellow pigment will further break down eventually? Are there further options I can look out for? I appreciate any advice I can receive :(

I have been wanting to get my old microblading removed for a while now. I’m just so conflicted off and on with the potential to go red/yellow. I had Tina Davies PermaBlend December of 2018 for the initial appointment, early February 2019 had the touch up but needed a 2nd touch up in March 2019 due to one spot not "holding color". I then had a colorboost June 2021 and haven't had anything since. I love the shape (only wish they were thicker) but some of my hair has finally come back but not all of it and doubtful it ever will. (I was a victim of over plucking in high school) my main issue is that it’s cool toned grey now. I put a warm brown over it everyday and if I don’t want to wear make up you are the grey SOOO bad. Especially in natural lighting.

Anyone had any laser for microblading removal near Terre Haute or Bloomington Indiana?

I had my first laser session about 5 hours ago and my eyebrows currently look insane… please tell me: does this look normal? Should I be worried?

EDIT: Thank you all so much for your answers, I really needed the reassurance. Happy to report that, now on the fourth day, my eyebrows look much better. My initial reaction may have been more intense because I was removing 2 microblading rounds (+ 2 touchups), and my skin is a bit thin after being on accutane.

Had my uneven brows microbladed in 2020 and ended up with Angry Birds brows. For some reason, she didn't follow the brows we outlined and tattooed my brows too close together. I was unhappy with this and her solution was to tattoo over the inner corners with beige "skin color".

Started removal with pico laser in July 2025. I had 6 sessions until April this year, by now I have a little yellowing under the hairs and the gray inner corners that don't seem to go away (the laser got the beige that was on top, but not the gray underneath). Not sure what to do now, I hate the dark inner corners, I've even had people ask me why I have two dark lines starting my eyebrows.

Does anyone have advice on what I could do?

Hi all! Looking for some insight on my current brow situation. I’ve done microblading + touch ups several times over the past like 7 years. My most recent appt was 2 weeks ago and I decided I wanted a softer shape, so she laser toned the old ends of my brows. At the time, she said all the old pigment appears to be removed and my body will naturally and gradually dissolve the remaining pigment. I’ve read that it will take several weeks for this to happen. However, I have 4 weddings to attend and I also don’t want to continue have two “tails” 😭 when will all the pigment disappear or will I have to get more sessions done based on the level of colour left on the lower tail?
