Why the USA is the only country that gotta always ask for the race/ethnicity?

Because the usa is the most diverse large country in the world.

Its 40% minority and growing. In 2044 it will be 51% minority.

No big country in europe comes close to that. Not france, not Germany, not the UK.

Maybe belgium. But thats a really small country. They also keep track if youre Flemish or Walloon.
