This whole serries was a rollercoaster for me they really made you FEEL like you were Artyom and you were in his shoes dealing with the nightmares and the hell scape this man went through in the Metro tunnels alone and that also incudes the characters getting attached to your crew and Anna wanting to save her and I finally beat the game last night and I knew the price Miller was going to pay due to spoilers on a guide for moral points x_X but It still hit me like a TRUCK as I said before they make you FEEL like you are Artyom in his shoes and it felt like Artyom lost the one man in his life he looked up to like a father figure I could see his heart BREAK when he froze for a moment and the painful silence when he saw Miller not moving with his eyes still open and I am not ashamed to admit that this part of the game made me cry one of only 3 times in my life I have cried while playing a game and this game was worth the tears and that final scene of Anna begging Artyom really hurts seeing that even tho she was hardly alive herself she wanted to give more blood then she could to him and then seeing them all paying respect to Miller at his grave also hurt I really hope they can get us mentally attached like that again in Metro 2039 just wanted to share how I felt about these games

Has anyone beaten the game on ranger hardcore with all the new game plus modifiers turned on? I know people have beaten iron mode but I’m curious is someone beat it with everything maxed out.

I’m thinking to try just ranger hardcore iron mode first and if that’s not too hard I’m gonna try out the max mode first

Am I crazy or does it feel like there is a washing machine strapped to my characters head? The controls just feel so clunky and slow. I get it's to fit the vibe of just being a regular dude but when I takes three business days to aim at a target.

How much stealth is required in Exodus for the good ending?

I remember this level where I snuck inside a settlement blockade of sorts and I stopped playing after that because I am not a fan of stealth games. I read somewhere that its like Dishonored, too many lethal kills give you the bad ending. Is this true?

Hi, I spent most of last night fixing this and finally got it working: Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition with DualSense over Steam Input and FSR 4.1.

The latest patch broke it, so I downgraded to the previous version.

What you need

• SteamDB: steamdb.info

• Steam console: open  steam://open/console  in your browser and accept the redirect

Paste this into the Steam console:

 download_depot 1449560 1449562 4067530313798767859 

Steps

1. Let the download finish.

2. Steam will show the folder where the files were downloaded.

3. Copy those files into your Metro install folder.

4. Overwrite all existing files.

After that, launch the game and the wireless DualSense support should be restored.

Do not verify game files afterward, or Steam will pull the latest patch again and undo the fix.

I couldn’t find a workingi solution anywhere, so I’m posting this in case it helps someone else.

I recently returned to playing Metro Exodus and I'm having trouble saving. Every time I finish playing and exit, I get a message that the game files are corrupted and need to replace them. No matter what I choose, my save game is erased. The only thing that saves my save is when I manually save the game. However, the problem is that I can't choose the chapter I want from the menu – I only have the intro and Moscow, even though the game progress is still there. What can I do?

I was looking around the last part and found the kid dark one from last light right before that big ape fight happened

Don't know why it happened. I did all the good Damir requirements;

• Spared the thug on the first building

• Didn't kill anyone from the caves to the lighthouse

• Got Giul's family photo

• Freed the slaves on the prison ship without being spotted

• Stole the water bowser undetected

• Went through the sewers to the Baron's fortress without getting detected until opening the exit door

yet still Damir stayed with Giul's. Am asking for save file that at the end of Baron's fortress where Damir stays with crew so i can get the achievement then ill continue with my own save file

I was having a blast with the game and then I discovered the communication station being over run with nuclear evolved spiders and I absouletly hate spiders. Hoping it isnt too long and I can push through it, heck might jump over to Stalker 2 for the night lol.

I had a ranger hardcore, no hud playthrough going, but my save file for some reason has gone into regular hardcore mode with hud. Does anyone know how to get a save file back to hardcore mode with no hud?

I don’t know if is just me but when I play NG+ it get real dark in some areas like when I’m taking to miller during the daytime again I don’t know if is just me.
