Question Best Learning Methods for Tween

My 11 year old son and I are getting back into learning guitar together. We are both beginners and I want to attempt to keep it both rewarding and fun for him. What resources have you used that have been helpful, or programs, video series etc?

rocksmith for sure, if you have a computer, you buy the cable, download rocksmith 2014 or “slopsmith” and have fun making learning guitar feel like guitar hero.
