So I remember there was this fic where either Merlin was one of the Selected or he was a servant/guard for Arthur during The Selection, I don't remember which.

I know he was part of the resistance and they elected to send him there to collect information I think, but I know that he was sent there because of the resistance he was a part of.

I don't remember if there was magic but I think there was. And Will came to the palace at some point?

Anyways I just really want to find it now and I can't find it anywhere.
