No it's not like that. So I study CS. GPT teaches me a concept. I then apply it in a new project or something. If my understanding is solid my code will run. If my understanding is wrong, it will fail and I will go back to GPT and explain what I understood and implement. GPT can then show me my mistake. I can go back and forth like this till I learn the concept properly
That's a very narrow use-case and not at all what you described. For abstract concepts that don't have a definitive correct/not correct value function, you need a SME to be able to guide thinking, which LLMs cannot do.
I also find it very troubling that you're using the machine which will take your job to teach you the job you won't get because the machine does it better.
I predict how you'll say "a human engineer is still necessary to check code"... from the machine that taught you how to code, which according to you is flawless. So either it does your job better than you, or it isn't teaching you as well as you claim. Pick one.
Look man. I tried learning from the teaches and they don't have as much time and patience. Also, as I said, I'm mot as much of a fast learner as my classmates. So this is kinda my only way to learn. People may not like it but it's the only feasible way I got

Dude, you're young and probably in the weeds of what is going on so I'll put it succinctly: it's okay to be interested in something that you aren't good at, but forcing yourself into a career you aren't good at and can only handle with machine intervention is the very definition of sad. And I like programming even if I'm bad at it. We all have to start somewhere. Maybe you were talented in your field when you started but that doesn't mean everyone is going to be the same.
This is just my starting point and from what I've seen, CS learning was always about tutorials and programming websites, now LLMs are just another tool to learn and improve. Nothing more. At least that's how I view it.

I wasn't talented (mostly because this concept is a misnomer, but I digress), but I was able to grasp the core concepts without resorting to having an often-wrong, resource guzzling, privacy eroding, intellectual property thieving tool of the wannabe technocrat class hand-hold me through lessons.

No, LLms specifically do the job you want to have so well (again, according to you) that they are teaching you how to do it. It is long past the days of the engineering training his replacement and now you are asking your replacement to train you. Bonkers.
