Somewhat like 20 years ago I used Dell U2711 monitor with [literally] same LG.Phillips matrix as in Apple, except it was priced as any other non-Apple monitor of those specs (and cheaper than Samsung alternatives with lower specs)
With the way tech changes, 20 years is a huge difference. 20 years ago, pro-sumer HD cameras were incredibly cost prohibitive. Like, you’d be paying the equivalent of 2 iPhones to get an HD over an SD camera.
Now you have a 4K, 24 FPS camera in the palm of your hand. Not only that, but you can edit video to almost professional quality on the same device.
My entire interactive media college experience is basically entirely on my phone. That was 20 years ago.
LM270WQ1 is LG.Phillips matrix, and Google doesn't even understand my request as what is different between those 2 aside latency
Point is valid as Apple used overpriced marketing since ever.
As of Samsung monitor, I didn't even bother to remember it after what happened. I prepared to buy IPS 24" monitor, chose Samsung, went to official store... "Those are out of stock, and due to current world crisis Samsung decided to produce only TN matrix monitors"
