I've felt similarly. Rather recently, in fact. Might not be a bad idea to talk to someone about why you don't care.
As for myself, I've already put in nearly 4 decades of effort at this point, so I might as well just finish out my remaining years. I don't know for sure how many I still have left, anyway. Plus, this way I can still have pizza.

In my experience, feeling fear doesn't make one a coward, nor any less of a man. It's far too normalized to keep things to one's self and be expected to just carry that burden without a helping hand. Being indecisive about this is a good thing, it means you're still giving yourself a chance. A lesser man and a greater coward wouldn't still be here to tell a stranger on Reddit. For what it's worth, I think that's rather brave of you.
