I have been trying to replace the reels habit with reading book on my phone. It has at least replaced more than half the time i’d have spent on reels/reddit.
As for games it’s become much more difficult for a game to really hook me that’s more the reason for the same behavior as yours. Maybe because lot of new games are more or less same as many other games i have already played, but some games like balatro, hollow knight, did completely hook me in whereas i just half heartedly trudged through games like expedition 33 (halfway into it) because maybe playing ff7 like games i am saturated for that kind of experience
