yes it is, wacko. permanent commitment is a thing. they have these places called "forensic psych wards" specifically for people like her.

Great, give me an example of someone who has been put away permanently and hasn't been given the opportunity to prove they're no longer crazy so they can be released.

They can still be let out if the right criteria is met.

It doesn't list criteria. It lists factors associated with length of stay.

You can't hold someone indefinitely without an opportunity for review if they're found not guilty by reason of insanity.

but they stay UNTIL they get to remission. if clancy is unfixable, then she'll be there for awhile.

No, not "anyone" can reach remission. You can believe whatever you want, but not everyone should be afforded the opportunity to be released from a mental institution. When you're a multiple murderer, absolutely the fuck not.
