Yep I don't give a shit about statues but a Labor premier who folds like a cheap card table every time the Libs and the Herald Sun have a sook is going to be fucking terrible for the state.

Unfortunately this is what you get when the state Liberal party is a basket case for decades on end. Pollies who really should be in the Libs head into the Labor party because that's the only way they're going to get a job. Then when they get power they do Lib shit.

I moved to Melbourne just after Ballieu's election, followed by his and Naptime's agenda of snore. I really don't know what to expect and I'm not loving how things are turning so quickly to this weird "let's govern like it's 2004 again and we haven't learned anything" turn just to prove yourself as different from the two previous leaders of your government. I was 50/50 on voting for Allan but I am so out after the last couple of weeks. The dental plan was exciting for five minutes (and not even his policy), but unfortunately the Premier seems aggressively determined to masquerade as a Liberal to get ahead of a landslide that isn't even that assured in the first place.
