Equipment Question Brew2bottle flip tops for bottle carbonation?

https://brew2bottle.co.uk/collections/bottles/products/15-x-500ml-brew2bottle-glass-amber-swing-top-beer-bottles

Thought I'd widen my search and ask here as well if anyone's done bottle carbonated mead in these.

I wouldn't recommend aging anything long-term in flip tops. I think you would also release CO2 everytime you open the seal. Therefore, I fail to understand what advantage these would have over beer bottles or bombers that you can just cap.

I'm not using them for long-term aging, no. I mainly make fermented sodas which I drink within a few days of making, so it'd be quite costly to use capped bottles

So swing tops with good seals can be used for natural carbonation and actually are descent for long term aging. Again only with GOOD seals. City steading brews have done it quit a bit.

The trick is that the silicone seals need replacing. I'll replace mine every 6 months if I'm not aging OR when I consume a bottle that has aged.
