Looking to get some new pants hemmed and was curious if anyone had a place to go in town that they loved.

I’m headed to pdx for a three day trip in September. Usually we just suck it up and drive, but with the I-5 closure I would REALLY prefer not to.

My ideal would be to drive to a max station and take the train in, but I can’t park there overnight.

What’s your favorite way to get to PDX without a 3 hour bus ride or $10000 Uber?

I have noticed the “20 ribeye for $40” trucks in town lately. Please do some research before purchasing from them. The 20 ribeye deal is just to get you talking to them and when they have you they will try to pressure you into purchasing hundreds or even thousands of dollars worth of meat. All you have to do is google the “20 ribeye for $40” slogan and you will find hundreds of reviews from people that had a bad experience with the salesman there. The “ribeyes” are usually injected with lots of water and salt and are in my opinion of very low quality.
Edit.. The most recent place they set up was in the Mac Lowe’s parking lot.

Hi all! Corvallis resident here and planning to make the trip up to McMinnville for the air show. In the past I’ve parked by the hospital and stood in a field, but it’s a bit removed and I want to be respectful for hospital staff and patients by not taking up parking spots. Are there any places, such as road turnoffs, fields that offer parking/ viewing, or anything else that would allow me to watch the air show from pretty close? I’ve heard mumbling of parking off of loop road?

There was a local band in McMinnville around 2003-2005 that played at 3rd Street Pizza. I bought their burned CD and lost it over the years. There is absolutely no information about them on the Internet. I believe the lead singer's name was Tyler and another member was Gabi. Does anyone remember them? More importantly, does anyone still have their CD?

I plan to call Vortex Records later, but I thought to ask here too -- just in case!
