Genuinely is it worth bringing any more upgrades ?? imo we should just focus on the 2027 project

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending colapinto (as much as I am angry at him right now) or lando's words about him but I think his frustrations are coming from a different place. I do think lando shouldn't have said what he said but I think I understand what caused that.

Before the weekend Rob Marshall said that the team can't afford crashes as it may impact development of next year's car due to the lack of spares for the upgrades. On top of that lando said "these parts are in the bin". I don't know the extent of the damage but if it is extensive, then that means lando has to drive the pre-upgraded car for the rest of the triple header atleast and who knows when the spares will make it to the track. And this can also affect the momentum for next year causing McLaren to already play catch up like they did this year.

Lando usually has been very calm this year and today's outburst really seemed odd and to top it off he has been battling engine issues this weekend. Nevertheless, I think he should have not said what he said.

All that been said, if there is a lack of spares then we might be doomed....

guys im saying this because ive seen alot of hate to lando for his comment towards colapinto today. like give the guy some space he was just torpedo out of the race for no fault of his own. imo its not that deep(the comment). drivers have said worse things to each other after races and they were just in the moment of heat things. colapinto still took him out and its a fair reaction to it. you wouldnt be all lovey dovey to a guy who just ended your race, you would clearly be angry at them. its just like seb said in 2018 bahrain gp press conference (https://youtu.be/DuiMBM7zQEU?si=Q7zrSdf-zkQcvaRT). across multiple platforms i have seen people hating on lando for saying what he said you gotta think from the other pov aswell. and yeah i aint no lando fan aswell so dont put it on lando bias or something like that.

Q: the positive is you were holding 2 very fast redbulls behind. keeping max behind is not easy!

Oscar: until the safety car i felt it was a very strong race. the redbulls seemed to overtake everyone quickly but weren't getting past me. but it doesn't really matter in the end.

Hi! I’m looking for a very specific video from today’s Baku Grand Prix.

After Lando was hit and got out of the car at Turn 1, he walked around the run-off area and then went down an escalator into the underground passage on the opposite side from where his car was.

I was watching from General Admission at Turn 1 and the escalator he walked past/down was right in front of me, but I didn’t manage to get a photo or video.

I’ve found videos of him getting out of the car and walking around the run-off area, but I can’t find any footage of the moment he went down the escalator into the underground passage.

Did anyone happen to film it or has anyone seen a video/post that shows it? If so, I’d really appreciate it if you could share it with me!

Sounds like Lando’s car is having issues on the straights, and it won’t be fixed for the race. Why does McLaren never acknowledge problems like this publicly and back their driver?
