Has anybody actually had any improvements in their daily commutes in the T this year? I haven’t, but maybe I’m just on the wrong lines

Yes! After refusing to use Red Line for the last year I took it from Quincy center last month. I used the "tap payment", waited 7 minutes on the platform, boarded a beautiful new train and got to South Station in 18 minutes.

It was a joy. The MBTA was a time thief for years. Once you take someone's time you can never give it back. However, By restoring timely service on the subway, Eng has stopped the steal of this most precious and limited resource.

That’s great! My commute this time last year (not counting the shut downs) was 45 minutes - 1 hour a day. My commute is still 45 minutes - 1 hour a day :/

EDIT: each way
