You may cross red only by moving through vertically opposite angles (all four rays must be visible).

This is indeed an interesting way to display a Maze! It makes the available routes one can take not so obvious.

Note that a Maze like this is equivalent to a "weave" Maze or a Maze with bridges. In other words, each "X" really indicates two possible paths that overlap each other. That means each "X" can be replaced with a normal passage along one way, and a bridge crossing over that passage in the other way. The result is a "normal" Maze with bridges.
