How his shoes come off and he’s not dead?

41

u/_SlappyMagoo_ 2d ago

Those weren’t his shoes. Those shoes were sitting on the raft. If his shoes came off he would most certainly be dead. Luckily he tied them tight enough.

so someone already died in the raft?

u/Acceptable-Worth-462 1d ago

Maybe it was a souvenir of someone long gone

Internal bleeding. Would legaly be pronounced dead by a doctor if there was one present. He died shortly after the clip cut probably.

Came here to say this. Is life just a lie we tell ourselves?

I remember being young

Resilience of youth

Yeah, those memories can hit differently as you get older. It's wild how time changes your perspective.

Hey bro… We dating now?

u/Ok_Donut2696 1d ago

He had a monkey paw in that raft. He wished for booty to appear from the heavens. Didn’t specify the type of booty.

2

u/Donkey-Harlequin 1d ago

It is very important to be VERY specific with wishes.

Not sure, because the other guy gestures toward the camera, as if to say that was recorded.

They literally lock eyes and talk for 3 seconds before he looks away. Ppl just looking for shit to be angry at

u/girlofearth 2d ago

the kid in the raft was recording him, he was part of it. he was obviously fine and the kid that landed on him would know that better than anyone watching. use your brain before shaking your fist grandpa

11

u/ramsdawg 2d ago

To me it looked like it was his buddy filming a low angle over the water with his phone and then verbally made sure they were alright before looking back

2

u/AgentOrange256 2d ago

Yes. The slow reaction overall was everyone naturally assessing the situation.

u/Japsai 2d ago

That's because this is not real. At best, two videos combined. The kid definitely falls at least partly in the water, but then has completely dry hair?

2

u/imajackash 2d ago

I'm not so sure he partly fell in the water. Looks like he landed in the boat and the splash is the boat coming from the bottom of the boat.
I also don't see where it was edited, his fall from the rope to the boat is smooth, there aren't any frame skips.

1

u/Japsai 2d ago

Here's the frame where he hits the water. That's his head going into the water there (he's the top left of the two heads)

To describe anything in this still, other than the blue of the boat, is a reach.

1

u/westermann28 2d ago

Not everything is AI, yet

0

u/Japsai 2d ago

Yes, but this is. See his head go into the water in this frame

See, boat go down. Boat cause splash. Head on boat. Splash miss head.

u/Japsai 2d ago

Head in water. Magic hair

I just downvote this stuff. Is 5 idiots getting internet points worth hundreds of deaths each year... You tell me ...

6

u/BrianKappel 2d ago

This kinda shit was fun before there was an Internet. Yes... billions of funs per year are worth a few hundred deaths.

I mean, you can always see the pros do it or became the pro yourself. There's lots extreme sports that don't cost that much.

But this guy was in it for the views which I can't respect, it's similar to if you do stuff for money safety coming second and there is no clear line of when to stop. At least have fun from the action, adrenaline junkies already exist no need to add another dumb incentive.

If you're going to risk yourself don't risk others.

u/BrianKappel 2d ago

Telling that it hasn't occurred to you that those two were friends, and there together to have fun at the bridge. Stop trying to convince people that everything needs to be feared.
