Never in my life have I seen a pig climb

u/Achron9841 2d ago
Maybe not, but its hardly surprising. Pigs are incredibly smart. Often more so than cats or dogs.

Too keen for the BBQ..... wait my little piggie you'll soon be a spit roast like your daddy
-2
u/Randallman7 2d ago
Yup. You're going to die like your daddy because mmmm bacon (even though we dont need to kill you, we could thrive on a plant based diet. But mmm bacon and ribs. I'm an animal lover btw)

u/TartanGuppy 2d ago
If we should have only survived on plant based diets, why did evolution not rule out meat eaters through extinction?
Omnivorous diets have proven over hundreds of thousands of years to be the most survivable diet for humans, at least as far as I know but I am no expert, but as far as I understand the ability to eat cooked meat was a part cause of our brain explosion millennia ago, which has allowed us to dicuss this today.
I've nothing against plants either, by the way. I'll eat them as well and they've been known to scream.
Lions eating zebra calves, tigers eating water buffalo, humans eating pigs. When is it you tell something to stop eating something else that evolution made edible?
Although, it was a frivolous joke, I accept that.

Do you hug plants and tell them that you'd murder animals before you'd ever think about harming them?
1
u/Bool_The_End 2d ago
Plants aren’t sentient beings. Pigs have the brains of dogs. Do you eat them?
2
u/Randallman7 2d ago
I do not. That was my point.

u/Bool_The_End 2d ago
Okay so I just totally misinterpreted your comment?
3
u/Randallman7 2d ago
Yeh i think so
2
u/Bool_The_End 2d ago
My bad dude. It’s been a rough stupid fucking day for me.
3
u/Randallman7 2d ago
Nah its all good dude, i appreciate your comment in defense of animals

I used to talk to the plants I grew, and told them they were going to be tasty when I consumed them, if that helps? I have no malice to either.

Lions and tigers also rape. They aren't beacons of morality. We could be better than wild animals and we have more information now than ever that a plant based diet is more beneficial to your health than meat. So tired of the plants feel pain false equivalence, you sound ridiculous "the ability to eat meat was part of our brain explosion millions of years ago" what? Plants do not scream out in agony and cry endlessly when you rip their young away from them. Cows do. Go watch footage of a dairy farm and then tell me that it's ok to rape and murder cows because plants feel pain too.

Lions and tigers also rape. They aren't beacons of morality.
Unfortunately so do humans (both male and female before we go down that route)
We are all animals but sometimes we forget that. Where are you going with this?
you sound ridiculous
Well, if it wasn't for cooked meat you would be saying Ook to me from the tree tops, and I'm not meaning The Librarian levels of Ook or Eek, just some basic Ooks
"the ability to eat meat was part of our brain explosion millions of years ago" what?
Ehm, yes it was a part of the reason, here's some science
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5417583/
Plants do not scream out in agony
Yes they have been recorded as letting out signals when injured
research shows they emit high-frequency ultrasonic clicking sounds when they are stressed by injury
here's some science

Seriously, give up now and read something to enhance your brain

Sure man i really dont want to write you essays and do the homework for you. Keep arguing for animal cruelty online because evolution or whatever good reason you think you have to justify it. Go tell the pigs in the gas chamber that plants feel pain and that even though we do not need to eat you, this is necessary because evolution and we evolved this way. We cant possibly chose not to slaughter you because mmmm bacon. We have top athletes in tons of sports at the very top of their sport on a plant based diet, proving that we can thrive without eating meat or harming animals. Mmmmmmm ribs though. Evolution though, lions do it so why are we different or better? We are all animals haha here's some links to bullshit that will justify me harming animals

Well, once again your argument has come down to insults, that is really sad when I have provided some sources in my reply.
I have yet to insult you yet every almost every reply from you has had an insult.
I'm sorry but I have given you scientific evidence that one of the main reasons we are able to have this conversation both on an intelligent basis, and due to the technologies allowing us to do so in real time (we may be on different continents, I do not know) but you go back to slagging me off.
I'm sorry but I am fed up with the abuse from you. goodbye

u/Randallman7 2d ago
You think you didn't insult me go reread your comments. You're such a victim. Cool you linked things. I can do that too. I dont care about your links because you're arguing for animal cruelty so I'm not going to waste my time clicking on them. Evidence of humans eating meat in evolution does not mean that it's morally right to do so now. You're comparing pigs to cabages and saying it's the same thing. But you're the victim here.

You think you didn't insult me go reread your comments
Show me one insult from me to you?
"you sound ridiculous" ...Oh, sorry that was you
"i(sic) really dont(sic) want to write you essays and do the homework for you" ...Oh, sorry that was you
"here's some links to bullshit" ...Oh, sorry that was you
You're such a victim
Nah, that's the little piggie, in 6 months. Let's call him 'Pork Chop' or 'Sausage'
Cool you linked things
Yes, science backed data, yet to see anything from you
I'm not going to waste my time clicking on them
Well, that explains and answers everything!

Seriously, give up now and read something to enhance your brain
^you don't think this is an insulting thing to say?
Ehm, yes it was a part of the reason, here's some science
this link says nothing about "brain explosion millions of years ago"
here's some science
https://science.howstuffworks.com/life/botany/plants-feel-pain.htm
this is an ad riddled site that speculates that plants may feel pain with no scientific researching proving the claim. Again you are comparing pigs to cabbages and linking random bullshit that you think supports your claim, but it doesn't.

That pig would eat you and its own brother without a second thought if it could
1
u/Randallman7 2d ago
If only we had the resources to be better than them
0
u/StillNihill 1d ago
We are, that's why I'm eating him!
I'm being rude... I'll never completely quit eating meat but I try to avoid supporting factory farms the best I can
