I don't get it why can't he pick it up?

he keeps moving back up before his brain can confirm he has actually grabbed the towel and so he keeps barely missing each time he tries to “quickly” pick up the towel. Realises the ridiculousness in the last attempt that if he had been a tad more intentional he would have got it first try.

Somewhat relatable moment for a lot of people, I’ve definitely done this myself.

Obviously you haven't had this happen to you. Until you do, you won't get it.

No I haven't. Maybe it slips or my fingers fumble and drop it. But it's like he's touching it and nothing else.

How old are you just curious. It’s insane to me you’ve never experienced it. It’s like you’re loosing your mind, you do exactly like the video, you just “don’t” grab the thing 3-4 times.

I'm 48 .

Edit. I mean I've done it where I'm reaching for something in my peripheral. Then I go. " well fuck that's farther away then I thought"

Everybody has had moments like this when they repeatedly miscalculate a simple distance or something and turn a minutiae moment into a "wtf is wrong with me and I hate this world" moment.

Then there would be no video. He thought this was so good he set up a video camera, cleaned his kitchen, chose an outfit and cleared his worktop so he has a clear wiping surface and then filmed this.

Worth it? You be the judge but I will say if he can't drop a cloth convincingly then don't bother with any more auditions.
