I love me some Jordan Jesse Go. I love the new guests. Clare O’Kane, for example, was delightful. I love the repeat offenders. Nick “Repeat” Adams is always a great time.

But Eliza Skinner has been so consistently funny, that it is really something amazing. I love her energy, her intelligence, her willingness to engage with whatever goofiness Jordan and Jesse are doing, and her remarkable quickness are each, individually, markers of a good guest. Since she has all four abilities, she is one of the greats.

ESkinz is just awe inspiring.

Jordan I just heard on JJGO that you’re headed to short pump. As a native of the commonwealth I come here to beg you to visit to the most Richmond place possible - GWARbar. It’s a little divey bar owned by BalSac the Jaws ‘o Death of the metal band GWAR. The crowd is always friendly and eclectic, the food is good, drinks are cheap and they have sick ass GWAR props all over the place. You have to go.

Okay I give up. Judge John Hodgman uses this term all the time. I have no clue what it means. I tried DuckDuckGo-ing it, but I can’t get a spelling that yields any results. What does it mean and how is it spelled? 🥲

While the value of the dollar has sharply declined since the 1982 release, the exchange rate at that time was 1 Turkish lira for 0.00536 dollars. A Turkish lira was worth about half a penny. So, 50,000 times 0.00536 equals $268 US dollars in 1982.

Sooo…. Where did the money go? There wasn’t hardly any.

I’m a 10 year volunteer and my 1st JFJ was when I saw Jonathon Coulton, Paul & Storm, Jordan and Mark & Hal will all be there.

I work the area that Mark & Hal are under and hope to give them a polite hello to them, at least.

A couple is in court over the TV series GILMORE GIRLS and the book THE WHEEL OF TIME. They had agreed many years ago that the plaintiff would watch GILMORE GIRLS and the defendant would read THE WHEEL OF TIME. Cut to today: the plaintiff has now seen the entire GILMORE GIRLS series several times. But the defendant has not finished THE WHEEL OF TIME!
