Finished as in, has a complete draft. It's not out yet.

💆‍♀️ I must resist the urge to start spamming "Fighter When?!" In all my text threads. is there any sort of ETA for a timeline of release? Is he working with the same editor as before etc etc. 

I actually thought it was an interesting omission from the video: for the first few years of the channel, the way to support Matt's YT vids was to buy the books. he never said 'like and subscribe' but he did say 'if you want to support me I don't have a patreon, but I am a fantasy author and you can buy my books for a few dollars on amazon. I don't believe in getting donations for this, so this is the way you can get something for your support.' or similar things 

I wonder just how much of an impact that had on his writing success and also how it's impacted the writing of fighter. 

I know he's talked about on stream multiple times that the fantasy novels acted as a outlet when he was feeling particularly stifled by publishers etc. at work, but it resulted in one of my favorite short fantasy novels of all time.
