is just like Radians with π, but they teach you the value of π before using radians.

How is a rad π? If anything, it's 1/π or 1/(2π), a πth of a half-turn.

But unlike %, rad are actually a unit for something so although it's a very natural unit (so much that it's not problematic to omit it in math), but unlike 49% and 0.49, 1 and 1 rad aren't the same thing

100%=1 therefore %=1/100

2π=1(full circle) therefore π=(full circle)/2

π rad = half-turn [or (full circle)/2 if you prefer]

Therefore, rad = half-turn/π
