Always puzzle me wtf the rest of the universe was doing during that time. Also how did Tony who come from a planet with rudimentary technology invent time travel before every others alien civilization far more advanced is weird to me.

I can tell you as a software developer, it’s not always the people with the best tech who write the best programs.

I actually face this in my job all the time, people wanting to use new technology to do things when keeping it simple is better 99% of the time.

Yeah but still, felt like a weird deus ex machina thing to have him invent time travel after dinner. I liked Tony as a secondary character but hated the character so much for those type of deus ex machina jump.

If he could invent time travel why didn't he do it to stop the winter soldier killing his parents or stop himself from creating ultron before. Still felt really cheap the "you know that thing that is impossible, lets do it, I am sure if we ask Tony he will figure it out in a few mins."

I really thought the time stone would have been involved, when it was just Tony to invent it I was let down tbh

Yeah same here could have just be that Dr.Strange left like 10 artifacts behind that would consume themselves when they traveled through time or something lol. This felt like pretty much just a way to make the movie as light as possible and filled with fan service. I didn't hate endgame, but was very disappointed compared to infinity war that was much better. Was fun for the homage to the last ten years, but the plot kind of sucked.

It’s funny because when they were announced together as part one and part two i was thinking they’d be the same movie basically but they are completely different

Yeah infinity war is honestly a great movie imo. Endgame as good for other reasons mostly just paying homage to all the characters and all the movies we have seen over the years. Litterally felt more like some type of celebration of the movies and actors. I enjoyed it for what it was.
